Anybody else out there having this trouble?

Ever since moving to a new Mac Mini my 9303 (blue) is freezing after a 2-5 minutes. Is this a firmware thing? I am running the latest FW. Is it a mini thing? I thought it was a power supply issue so I bought an adapter (4.5 v), but when I plugged it in the Feena went dead immediately. Unplugged and replugged w/o USB cable and got power, but no midi signal after reconnecting USB--obviously a problem. Is it an issue with my cordless mouse/keyboard? Or is it Traktor? Any ideas people? Help. This is a serious setback.

Should mention I'm in Japan, which is on 100V power from the wall. No previous problems with this other than the usual Traktor/Feena bugginess. Cheers.

Mini is 2 GHZ Intel core duo, 2 gig RAM.

When you say it went dead, what exactly happened? did the lights go out or did it just stop sending MIDI data?

The lights went out as soon as I touched the adapter jack to the Feena. No more midi, nothing. Dead. Running off of the USB cable at least Traktor recognizes the controller for a few minutes before controls freeze/midi data cuts, or whatever, although the 'receiving data' light is still on in the interface, and it shows up in the 'connected devices' pane of the preferences window. Also, the controller is still lit up.

Another weird thing, Traktor is now running both the right and left channels through the right side of the cross fader. My audio appears to be set up right, so what am I missing?

Sorry to sound like such a noob. Probably something simple that I'm just overlooking.

Cheers.
M

OK, my bad on the left/right deck audio problem. That is set in Traktor's 'deck' pane.

But another thing about the 9303 that I forgot to mention, it's not even being recognized by Midi Tweaker.

Like I said before, I get about 30 seconds to a couple minutes where it works fine, then nothing, though the lights are still on and the little green 'midi' light is on in Traktor. Midi Tweaker is picking up nothing, regardless.

Cheers

midi tweaker wont work on an intel MAC. there was an issue with the java library that did not support midi on the MAC port. I'm sure that is fixed now. Ill have to look into it.

im still stumped with the other issue though. You might have to use a MIDI/usb adapter and use the MIDI port on the 9303. somethink like the maudio uno

are you sure its because of the MAC mini? did you upgrade your traktor version also?

yes, I bought the M-Audio uno and still had the same problem. It looks like it's a midi problem on the controller side, as I plugged in an old midi keyboard and played on that with no problem (except for the broken keys).

It's not a Mac Mini problem as the same problem appears on my new laptop. I'm running all new versions of software. What could this be? I'm going nuts thinking I'm going to have to scrap this great little piece of kit that's served me so well up till now. Help please.
